WWF Monday Night Raw: October 9, 1995

We kick off this week's edition of Monday Night Raw with a PPV-caliber main event with Diesel, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker taking on The British Bulldog, Owen Hart, and Yokozuna.

There are clips shown of Michaels at an inner city school ceremony where Shawn is shown all choked up. Owen and Michaels start the match off and both show off their excellent athletic skills. Diesel brawls with Bulldog as Undertaker does so with Yokozuna.

Waylon Mercy is shown watching the match from the entry way and Dean Douglas is out there taking notes. The heels have been beating on Michaels. After Owen misses a flying heat butt, Michaels tags in Diesel, who takes care of the trio.

Owen hits Diesel from the outside as Diesel walks right into the running powerslam by the Bulldog. The Undertaker breaks up the count. As the referee is busy with Undertaker, Yokozuna sneaks in a gives Diesel a leg drop. Bulldog pins Diesel for the 1-2-3 to give him a psychological advantage heading into their title match at In Your House.

After the match, King Mabel comes down to join the heels in attacking The Undertaker as he and Yokozuna go back-and-forth dropping leg drops onto Undertaker's face. Bulldog and Owen beat down on Diesel and Dean Douglas comes out to attack Michaels. Douglas gives Michaels a front suplex, sending him face and body first into the steel steps.

This was a good old fashioned ass whipping by the heels. After commercials, the faces were still down in the ring, selling the vicious attack as result of the heels.

Last week on Raw, Jerry Lawler tried to goad Bret Hart into a fight after Hart defeated Jean-Pierre Lafitte. Isaac Yankem DDS ran out to save Lawler and gave Hart the DDT(S) onto the floor. Vince McMahon announced a Steel Cage match between Hart and Yankem next week on Raw. If Lawler interferes, he will be lifted high above in a small cage. They show us highlights from their match at SummerSlam, where Lawler helped Yankem choke out The Hitman.

Next up the former savage now turned street guy Fatu taking on Skip with the ever lovely Sunny. Just show Sunny please!! Lawler says that King Mabel is trying to get into the Undertaker's dressing room.

Although no longer the savage, you still can't hit Fatu in the head as he no-sells it like his Headshrinker days. Well, he can get hit in the head with steel as he goes down like everyone else. Skip can't superplex Fatu as he knocks Skip down and hits Skip with a big splash off the top rope for the win.

There are clips shown of the six-man tag team match shown earlier. Dok Hendrix is trying to get an interview with the Two Dudes with Attitudes, but Vince McMahon tells him that's not a good idea.

Meanwhile, Jim Ross goes into Camp Cornette's dressing room and interviews Cornette, who is all giddy over what they had done earlier. British Bulldog is flexing and says he will bring the WWF Championship back with him to England. King Mabel walks in and calls Bulldog his "homey." Mabel then vows to bury The Undertaker under a mountain of snow in Winnipeg at In Your House.

Next week on Raw: Bret Hart vs. Isaac Yankem in a Steel Cage match.
