We are shown highlights of the Smoking Gunns defeating Owen Hart and Yokozuna to win back the WWF World Tag Team Championship last week on Monday Night Raw.
We kickoff this week's edition of Raw with a rematch between Razor Ramon and The 1-2-3 Kid as Razor can not beat the Kid on Raw. Vince McMahon tells us in the main event tonight it will be a rematch from eight days ago as Bret Hart takes on Jean-Pierre Lafitte. McMahon also mentions whether or not the Kid has been talking to Ted DiBiase.
Razor is taking it to the Kid at the start as Dean Douglas comes out to observe the match and take notes. The Kid comes back but misses a spinning heel kick and is nailed with a big clothesline as Razor pins him for the 1-2-3.
The Kid wants another match and slaps Razor in the face and Razor gives him another match right now. While we were in commercial break, it was mentioned that Razor pinned the Kid again for the 1-2-3 as Razor turned a headscissors into a powerbomb for the pin.
Again, the match restarts as McMahon tells us we're getting three matches in one night. Ok this is stupid just end it. Razor gives Kid a back superplex off the top rope. Instead of going for the Razor's Edge, Razor shows the Kid mercy and pins him with an inside cradle.
Finally this match is over, or is it? The Kid sneaks up behind Razor with a roll up and the referee counts two. What the hell is going on? Kid turns his back to Razor and wants him to give him the Razor's Edge. Razor won't do it and the two hug and embrace and look to put everything behind them, so we think.
Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler run down the upcoming In Your House PPV. WWF World Heavyweight Champion Diesel takes on The British Bulldog. Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels defends his title against Dean Douglas. The Undertaker takes on King Mabel and Goldust debuts against Marty Jannetty.
They show us last week on Raw where Mabel and Davey Boy Smith attack The Undertaker until Diesel and Michaels run in to make the save.
Tonight, Raw is doing an O.J. Simpson trial voteline where you can call and either vote yes or no on whether or not you think Simpson is guilty of double murder. 50 cents per call and the proceeds go to the National Exchange Club Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse. I don't get why they want everyone to vote OJ guilty or not but it is going to a good cause I guess. Anyone else sick of the damn OJ trial?
Next the WWF's blueblood snob Hunter Hearst Helmsley will take on Barry Horowitz. Horowitz does the job for Helmsley, who beats him with the Pedigree. Does this mean that Horowitz will be back to being a jobber?
Next up, two white dudes who pretend they are rappers: JC Ice and Wolfie D as PG-13 as they are taking on two jobbers. Vince McMahon says they are the USWA Tag Team Champions and PG-13 does an interview where they make fun of the Smoking Gunns and want to take their WWF World Tag Team Championship from them. PG-13 wins in a squash.
The main event has Bret "The Hitman" Hart taking on Jean-Pierre Lafitte in a rematch from In Your House. During the match, Jerry Lawler is trashing Hart throughout the match as he is still not over their feud from earlier. Ugh, can we move on from Lawler and Hart.
Hart and Lafitte have had another very good match here like their match at the PPV. I'm seriously digging this pirate character as he's really good in the ring. Don't look for main event status much after this however. Hart gives Lafitte the superplex and makes him give up to the Sharpshooter.
After the match, Lawler talks shit to Hart, prompting Hart to go after him. Lawler is saved by his dentist Isaac Yankem, who gives Hart the DDT or I should say DDS onto the floor, knocking Hart out. Crap, we are still on Hart vs. Lawler and Isaac Yankem?
Next week's main event on Monday Night Raw: Diesel, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker will take on The British Bulldog, Owen Hart, and Yokozuna in a six-man tag team match. We hear interviews from both sides.
The verdict is in and 51% voted O.J. Simpson not guilty. Good night!!
