WWF In Your House 4

We are live from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada for In Your House 4. Your hosts are Vince McMahon, Jerry Lawler, and Jim Ross.

Interim WWF President Gorilla Monsoon says Shawn Michaels will not be able to wrestle tonight due to a severe concussion he received from the attack outside a bar in Syracuse, NY last week. Michaels will forfeit the title to Douglas, who will have to defend that title against Razor Ramon. Razor will look to win two titles tonight as he's booked in the Tag Team Title match later.

Our first match is Fatu against Hunter Hearst Helmsley. We are shown this weekend on Superstars where Helmsley spraying cologne in Fatu's face. Helmsley tries it again, but Fatu gets the better of him. Fatu goes for the Flying Splash off the top rope, but missed. Helmsley hits the Pedigree for the win as he remains unbeaten. Henry O. Godwinn chases Helmsley to the back with his slop bucket.

Next up is the WWF World Tag Team Championship match between the champions the Smoking Gunns against Razor Ramon and the 1-2-3 Kid. Both teams resort to double-teaming one another and even resort to cheating despite both being faces. Dean Douglas is shown in the back watching the match and taking notes as he will have to take on his old nemesis for the Intercontinental Title later.

Razor gives Billy Gunn the Razor's Edge as Razor and the Kid look to become tag team champions. The Kid really wants to make the pin so Razor tags him in. Kid cockily lays on top of Billy for the pin, but Billy rolls him up for the 1-2-3 to retain the tag team titles. The Kid blew it for he and Razor and he knows it as he throws a tantrum after the match.

Kid hits the Gunns and steals the belts for himself. The Gunns attempt to go after Kid, but are stopped by Razor, who attempts to calm everyone down. He gives the belts back to the Gunns and everything is cool I guess. Razor is 0-1 in his attempt at winning championship gold but he has a chance later against Douglas.

Next is the WWF TV debut of Goldust as he takes on Marty Jannetty. Vignettes had been shown of Goldust for some time and he comes out for his debut to one of the coolest entrances I ever seen. There is gold lighting and gold glitter falling from the rafters.

Goldust takes his blonde wig off which I thought was real for some reason. It's basically Dustin Rhodes in drag with gold-and-black face paint. Goldust takes it Jannetty before Jannetty fights back. He hits Goldust(in) with the Rocker Dropper and goes up for the Flying Fist Drop.

Goldust moves out of the way, but Jannetty lands on his feet and clotheslines Goldust. He goes for the Flying Fist Drop again, but Goldust hits him with a boot to the face. Goldust gives Jannetty a front suplex for the 1-2-3 as Goldust wins in his WWF debut.

Now it's on to Yokozuna taking on King Mabel as this was supposed to be The Undertaker vs. Mabel before both men sat on Undertaker's face repeatedly and crushed it. This match is basically who can out-fat who and both men are counted out. Both look to fight but hug it out instead.

Ok, next we have the WWF Intercontinental Championship match between newly crowned champion Dean Douglas vs. Razor Ramon. Before the match, Shawn Michaels appears in street clothes all beat up and sad looking and reluctantly hands the belt over to Douglas as Douglas is now officially the new Intercontinental Champion.

Now it's time for Douglas to defend the title against Razor. Douglas elbows Razor as Razor tries to back superplex him off the top rope. Douglas hits him with a flying cross body, but Razor rolls him over for a two-count.

Razor gives Douglas a back suplex and pins him for the 1-2-3 to become the WWF Intercontinental Champion for a record-fourth time. Douglas' foot was on the ropes, but the referee did not see it and his decision is final.

Bret Hart joins the announce booth to provide commentary for the WWF Championship main event between Diesel and The British Bulldog. Hart will be given a title shot against the winner at Survivor Series. Hart nearly gets involved as Diesel is nearly shoved into by Bulldog.

Bulldog begins working on Diesel's leg and even puts him in the Sharpshooter to mock Bret. Diesel powers out of it. Bulldog tried not one but two powerslams only for Diesel to shove him into the ropes and hit him with the big boot. Jim Cornette gets thrown into the ring and is accidentally hit by Bulldog.

The action soon spills over to the floor where Diesel is shoved into the ring post by Bulldog. Bulldog begins celebrating and then walks over to where Bret is sitting and slaps him in the face. An irate Brer runs into the ring and attacks Bulldog, getting Diesel disqualified, but retaining the title.

An angry Diesel gets into Bret's face for costing him the match and the two have to be separated by officials as they go after each other as the show comes to an end. It looks like Diesel vs Bret for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series.
