Road Warrior Hawk vs. Kurasawa (w/Col. Rob Parker)
The feud between these two dated back to Clash of the Champions XXXI. After Road Warrior Hawk teamed with Sting to defeat Kurasawa and Meng, Kurasawa attacked Hawk and broke his arm with his seated armbar arm breaker finisher. Hawk has just come back from the injury and looks for payback against Kurasawa tonight.
Sabu (w/The Original Sheik) vs. Mr. JL
There is a thrilling match between two of WCW's young high-flyers. These two met on the October 9 episode of WCW Monday Nitro where Sabu defeated JL in a thrilling high-flying match. After the match, Sabu performed a somersault powerbomb on JL through a table as is Sabu's custom after winning a match, he puts his opponent through a table.
WCW World Television Championship match - WCW TV Champion Diamond Dallas Page (w/The Diamond Doll and Maxx Muscle) vs. Johnny B. Badd
World TV Champion Diamond Dallas Page has been on a major role as of late, finding a fortune and winning his first WCW Championship at the last PPV. He started a feud a with Johnny B. Badd few weeks ago on WCW Saturday Night when Badd was supposed to take on Sting for the WCW U.S. Championship after defeating Brian Pillman at Fall Brawl.
However, Badd did not make it to the arena as it was revealed that Page slashed Badd's tires on his car. Page believed he should be the number one contender to Sting's U.S. Title. On the October 16 episode of Nitro, Page was supposed to defend the TV Title against Badd, but knocked him out with the title belt before the match started and the match did not take place.
Randy Savage vs. Zodiac and Lex Luger vs. Meng (Possibly Savage vs. Luger if both win their respective matches)
For some weird reason, Randy Savage and Lex Luger have to take on members of the Dungeon of Doom in separate matches and if they both win, they'll take on each other later to try and settle their score. Why can't they just let them wrestle each other without these lame matches? Savage does not like and trust Luger ever since Luger came back to WCW in September and wants to take him out.
Ric Flair and Sting vs. Arn Anderson and Brian Pillman
Ric Flair and Arn Anderson have been best friends, closer than brothers for many, many years. Their feud goes back to Clash of the Champions XXXI in August when Flair blamed Anderson for a loss in their match against Vader. The two fought at Fall Brawl with Anderson winning thanks to interference from Brian Pillman.
Flair has been trying to get at both Anderson and Pillman and has been asking several wrestlers such as old foes Randy Savage and Sting to help him in his battles against Arn and Pillman. Savage without a doubt rejected Flair and Sting did so at first.
Flair had taken on Arn on episodes of WCW Monday Nitro where he was attacked by Pillman and lost a Steel Cage match thanks to Pillman. Two weeks ago on Nitro, Flair took on Arn and Pillman by himself until Sting came out and helped Flair defeat them and announced he would team with Flair to take on Arn and Pillman at Halloween Havoc.
Monster Truck Challenge and WCW World Heavyweight Championship match - WCW Champion Hulk Hogan (w/Jimmy Hart) vs. The Giant (w/Kevin Sullivan)
First, there will be a Monster Truck Challenge on top of the roof of Cobo Hall between Hulk Hogan and The Giant. Then in the main event, Hogan will defend his WCW World Heavyweight Championship against The Giant in what will no doubt be Hogan's toughest challenge to date.
The Giant has been a thorn in Hogan's side since confronting Hogan before the Bash at the Beach PPV in July and threw Andre the Giant's shirt in Hogan's face much to Hogan's shock to reveal that he is the "son" of Andre. Giant is back to avenge his father against Hogan.
Giant revealed he was a member of the Dungeon of Doom at Clash of the Champions XXXI in August when he attacked and choked out Hogan. Then at Fall Brawl, Giant first ran over Hogan's prized motorcycle with a monster truck. Then later that night, Giant "broke" Hogan's neck after the WarGames match.
A couple weeks later on Monday Nitro, Giant again attacked Hogan and again broke his neck as Kevin Sullivan shaved off Hogan's trademark mustache. The next week on Nitro, Hogan came out no longer wearing yellow-and-red but wearing all black as he now found the "dark side."
On a side note, the WCW World Tag Team Championships will not be defended on this card as Harlem Heat, who defeated The American Males to win back the titles last night on WCW Saturday Night, are not even on the PPV. I don't know why Harlem Heat is not on as it seems the tag team division in WCW is getting a little stale.
