The show starts with new ECW World Heavyweight Champion Raven doing a promo with Kimona Wanalaya. He wants to introduce to us his prized possession. Raven then tosses Kimona aside as he shows off the title belt.
This is from Queens, NY as the opening match tonight is Rey Mysterio Jr. taking on fellow Luchador Juventud Guerrera, making his ECW debut. They cut to a commercial break and then they plug a "Fonzie Must Die" t-shirt when we come back.
The match starts with Guerrera giving him a fireman's carry into a slam. Mysterio counters with a side headlock that Guerrera escapes but Mysterio takes him down with an arm drag only for Guerrera to counter with an arm drag of his own. Announcer Joey Styles says both men are only 21 years old.
Guerrera hits a spine buster only for two. The two start slapping each other in the face with Rey giving him a huge slap in the face. Mysterio hits a flying Hurricanarana and then a flying headscissors. Mysterio then hits a springboard Hurricanarana and then somersaults onto Guerrera on the floor. Mysterio puts a chair on Guerrera's neck and rams him into the post.
Guerrera fights back with a dropkick, a German suplex. and tigerbomb for only two. Mysterio comes back with a Hurricanarana for two. He hits a powerslam and goes up top, but is caught by Guerrera. He tries to go for a flying variation of the Razor's Edge when Mysterio catches him with a Hurricanarana for the 1-2-3 and the win.
They are now promoting an Enter the Sandman t-shirt.
Joey Styles does a promo on Shane Douglas vs. Cactus Jack how they were once friends now bitter rivals. Douglas came back from the WWF, Cactus is heading to the WWF. Cactus is shown in the back with his reluctant tag team partner Mikey Whipwreck. Cactus is hyping up Mikey and then asks him if he wants to go to the WWF with him, but Mikey wants to stay in ECW.
It's time for Cactus and Mikey to defend their ECW World Tag Team Titles against The Eliminators. Cactus takes off his shirt and underneath it is a "WW F'N F" t-shirt mocking the "EC F'N W" shirt as Cactus is heading to the WWF.
Mikey as usual starts the match off with Kronus and takes Kronus down with a side headlock. Saturn tags in as Mikey catches him with an arm drag and a headlock. Cactus wants in and goes on the microphone saying that Cactus has won the titles all by himself.
Cactus and Mikey are having problems working together as a team as The Eliminators work over Mikey. Kronus gives Mikey a powerbomb and Saturn hits a flying knee drop off the top rope only for two. Eventually, Mikey gets the tag to Cactus as Jack gives Saturn the Cactus clothesline over the top rope. Cactus then hits the flying elbow drop off the ring apron and then gives him a piledriver in the ring, but does not cover Saturn.
Instead he sees a glass bottle in the ring and is about to nail Saturn but Mikey prevents him from doing so and dropkicks his own partner. Saturn grabs the bottle but Mikey superkicks him. Cactus accidentally bumps Mikey as The Eliminators hit Total Elimination on Mikey and pin him to win the ECW World Tag Team Championship.
Raven runs into the ring to attack Mikey until Cactus throws Raven off of him and yells at Raven in the corner. However, he clotheslines Mikey and turns on his partner. Raven grabs a steel chair and hits Mikey with it then Cactus double-arm DDT'd Mikey on the chair.
The Eliminators come back out and cut a promo when Francine comes in. Despite being taken out by Total Elimination, Francine says she wants to manage them now that they are the champs. However it was a setup as The Pit Bulls run and attack the new champs. Francine manages to hang Saturn with a dog collar while they beat on Kronus and give him the Superbomb. She then manages to give Saturn a terrible hair cut.
It's Pulp Fiction promo time with The Gangstas ripping on The Pit Bulls, followed by Tommy Dreamer and Beulah ripping on Raven, Cactus Jack and Raven with Cactus bashing Mikey Whipwreck, Shane Douglas is just laughing, Taz and Bill Alfonso ranting about New York with Taz promising to choke out all comers, Beulah says she faked it with Raven, Raven under the stairs, 2 Cold Scorpio on women and his title, The Pit Bulls and Francine bashing The Eliminators, and finally The Eliminators.
The show ends with Saturn shaving off the rest of his hair.
