WCW Fall Brawl 1995

We are live from Asheville, North Carolina for Fall Brawl 1995. Your hosts are Tony Schiavone and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. They show what happened on the Main Event just before the PPV where The Giant ran over Hulk Hogan's motorcycle with a monster truck and laughs maniacally and drives away. Hogan then foolishly pounds on the door of the monster truck.

The opening match is "Flyin" Brian Pillman vs. Johnny B. Badd with the winner to get a U.S. Title shot against Sting. A thrilling match where Pillman acts like a heel, yelling at the crowd, ends with several near falls.

Badd hit Pillman with the left hook he calls the "Tooty Fruity" as the referee only counted two as Pillman's foot was on the ropes. Pillman goes for a backslide for a two-count as the 20-minute time limit expires and the match is declared a draw.

However, there must be a winner and a number one contender for the U.S. Title so the match restarts. After another 10 minutes, both men hit each other simultaneously with cross body blocks, knocking each other out. Badd falls on Pillman and the referee counts three as Badd wins a thrilling match and is now the #1 contender for the U.S. Title.

Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan talks about the Ric Flair-Arn Anderson match and their problems in recent months. Of course Heenan blames all this on Hulk Hogan as Flair was obsessed with destroying Hulkamania ruining their friendship.

Flair is now being interviewed by "Mean" Gene Okerlund about Anderson and talks him up like this is really emotional what they are going through.

The next match is Sgt. Craig Pittman vs. Cobra. Cobra is in the ring while a man dressed in army fatigues comes out during Pittman's entrance music. Cobra is distracted and Pittman comes down from the ceiling all stealth, marines style and attacks Cobra from behind in a really cool move by the sarge. The match lasted over a minute as Pittman made Cobra give up to his Code Red arm submission move.

They recap what's been going on with "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff and his recent string of losses and his lack of confidence. I don't know why he has a lack of confidence especially after beating the shit out of Vader in a backstage fight. I know if I could beat up a 400-lb man, I would have absolutely no confidence problems, but that's me.

He is meeting with motivational speaker and psychic Gary Spivey and Spivey reminds Orndorff that he is indeed "Mr. Wonderful." Orndorff looks himself into the mirror and kisses his own reflection as apparently he is no longer bummed out.

Now it's on for the WCW World Television Championship between the champion The Renegade and Diamond Dallas Page. Jimmy Hart is still with The Renegade? I didn't know Renegade was still associated with Hulk Hogan and that bunch, but whatever. Page comes out with the super gorgeous Diamond Doll Kimberly, who I think is so hot, and his huge muscular bodyguard Maxx Muscle.

Anytime Page did a move on The Ultimate Warrior wannabe, he told Kimberly to hold up a sign with "10" on it for how great that move was. I think 10 is for her looks. Muscle interferes in the match late as Renegade is on the top rope about to give Page his splash, but jumps off and lands on Muscle.

As Renegade goes back into the ring, Muscle grabs his ankle, allowing Page to give Renegade the Diamond Cutter to win the match and the WCW World Television Championship. This is Page's first championship of any kind in WCW as he is slowly climbing his way to the top. Good for him, I like his character a lot.

Next match is the WCW World Tag Team Championship match between the champions Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater vs. the Harlem Heat. Sherri and Col. Rob Parker are making out in the second ring as the referee is distracted.

The Nasty Boys, who Buck and Slater cost a match to the American Males earlier, ran in and hit Slater with his own boot, knocking him out and allowing the Harlem Heat to beat them and win back the WCW World Tag Team Championship for the third time. Parker didn't seem to care that his team lost the titles as he wanted to get Sherri to be his.

Gene Okerlund is interviewing Arn Anderson about his upcoming match with the Nature Boy Ric Flair. Anderson, much like Flair earlier, was talking about their bonding over the years and is totally selling it like its a legitimate problem between the two as they seem upset they are in this match against one another.

It's time for the Flair vs. Anderson match. Several wrestlers are shown watching this match sitting in the front row as it should be a classic between the two best friends. A truly classic back-and-forth match ends when Anderson's knee appears to be too damaged from Flair's Figure Four as he collapses to the ground.

All of a sudden, Brian Pillman runs from the front row and climbs the ring apron and yells at Flair and then punches him. Flair punches him right back and when he turns his back, Pillman kicks Flair in the back of the head. Anderson then gives Flair the DDT to win the match. The fans in attendance boo Arn as it appears that he might be the heel.

They show a video again of The Giant running over Hulk Hogan's motorcycle with the monster truck and then play a video montage of Hogan, Randy Savage, Sting, and Lex Luger. The four are being interviewed by Gene Okerlund. They say there is no tension between the three and Luger and Hogan wants five minutes with Kevin Sullivan.

The WarGames Match starts with Sting and the artist formerly known as Earthquake/Avalanche "Shark." Hogan's team is dressed in camouflage fatigues since its "war games." They wrestle for five minutes as Sting puts Shark in the Scorpion Death Lock when it's time for the next entrant and it's Zodiac "The Barber" Beefcake form The Dungeon of Doom.

Sting locks Zodiac in the Scorpion Death Lock until being broken up by Shark as the two double-team him. Now it's time for the next guy to enter and it's Randy Savage, who helps Sting. The Ugandan Giant Kamala comes in and then it's Luger and then Meng before finally Hulk Hogan comes in as all eight men are in the match. Luger accidentally clotheslines Savage.

Hogan comes in and throws white powder in the face of every member of the Dungeon. Hogan then rams every member of the Dungeon's face into the cage and then locks Zodiac in a camel clutch. As Zodiac keeps saying "yes" and "no" over and over again like his gimmick, the referee believes its a submission so Hogan's team wins.

Now Hogan gets five minutes with "The Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan as Sullivan tries to escape, only to be stopped by security who throws him back into the cage. Hogan easily beats on Sullivan by throwing him into the cage, punching him, and choking him out.

All of a sudden, The Giant runs and enters the cage by picking up referee Randy Anderson rather easily with one hand. Giant chokes Hogan before Hogan fights back with right hands, but The Giant no-sells the attack. He again chokes Hogan and then grabs his neck and twists it, "breaking" Hogan's neck as the show went off the air. The Giant shows he's literally the biggest threat to Hogan.

I guess Giant running over Hogan's motorcycle wasn't the worst thing he did to him.
