WCW Fall Brawl 1995 Preview

Here's a look at tonight's Fall Brawl PPV card.

Sgt. Craig Pittman vs. Cobra
Sgt. Craig Pittman was Cobra's "commanding officer" during the Gulf War. Pittman "abandoned" him in the desert during battle and went back to camp and reported Cobra "AWOL." Cobra lost all rank and respect and came to WCW to get his revenge on Pittman.

"Flyin" Brian Pillman vs. Johnny B. Badd
This is a match with two faces facing off with the winner to become the number one contender for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship.

WCW World Television Championship match - TV Champion The Renegade w/ Jimmy Hart vs. Diamond Dallas Page w/ The Diamond Doll and Maxx Muscle
Really not much of a story between these two. DDP has been on a role lately as he went from living in a trailer to driving a beat up old car to just being down on his luck, he recently come across a fortune in a lucky streak. He looks to continue his lucky streak as he will try to win his first WCW Title against the Ultimate Warrior wannabe ripoff.

WCW World Tag Team Championship match - Tag Team Champions Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater w/ Col. Rob Parker vs. Harlem Heat w/ Sister Sherri
There has been some history between these two teams especially involving both of the managers. On the Main Event shown right before The Great American Bash PPV, Sherri punched out Parker. Harlem Heat lost the titles to Bunkhouse Bunk and Dick Slater on the July 22, 1995 edition of WCW Saturday Night and want the titles back. Col. Rob Parker tried to being a romance with Sister Sherri, but she refused. They took on each other at the Clash of the Champions in August with Sherri joining Harlem Heat to take on Bunkhouse Bunk and Dick Slater and Parker in a six-person tag team match with Harlem Heat and Sherri winning to win a rematch for the titles at Fall Brawl. Sherri hit her head and was briefly knocked unconscious. When she got back up, she began going after Parker by dragging him to the ground and kissing him. Parker was very uncomfortable and began running away only for Sherri to chase after him as she now was in love with him.

Ric Flair vs. Arn Anderson
The two best friends who might even be closer than brothers are now feuding and will take on each other in what will hopefully be a classic match. This stems from back from last month at Clash of the Champions XXXI where Flair and Anderson lost to Vader in a Handicap match. Flair blamed Anderson for the loss and the two friends have been at odds ever since. Hopefully this will settle the score.

WarGames Match - Hulk Hogan, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Sting, and Lex Luger vs. The Dungeon of Doom (Shark, Kamala, Zodiac, and Meng) w/ "The Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan
Outside of Sting, the one true WCW competitor, this match is filled with all former WWF guys, including Lex Luger, who literally joined WCW two weeks ago from the WWF. I can't believe Kamala is still wrestling. This would have been a great match say 4-5 years ago, but not today. Hulk Hogan has been feuding with "The Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan as Sullivan put together The Dungeon of Doom stable to end "Hulkamania." Vader was originally supposed to be on Hogan's team but he is fired from WCW for a backstage fight with Paul Orndorff, so Luger came back and replaced him. If Hogan's team wins, he gets five minutes alone with Sullivan.
