RAW is live from Newark, DE with our hosts Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler. We are shown highlights of last night's In Your House as Santa Claus attacks Savio Vega, Jeff Jarrett returning to attack Ahmed Johnson with a gold record, and Diesel and Undertaker's confrontation at the end of the PPV.
Jarrett returns to the WWF and takes on Fatu in the opening match. Vince McMahon talks about the Bret Hart-Davey Boy Smith WWF Title match last night as Bret retains the title. Ahmed Johnson runs into the ring to attack Jarrett as Jarrett bails out and leaves.
Dok Hendrix talks to WWF President Gorilla Monsoon as Monsoon announces the main event at the Royal Rumble for the WWF Title between Bret Hart and The Undertaker. Diesel will not be happy but Monsoon says he will get over that.
Monsoon mentions that Jarrett will not be in the Royal Rumble match so too will Johnson as the two will face each other in a match at the Royal Rumble. Hendrix then asks who is in? Monsoon says there will be current stars, past stars, people we haven't heard of, and people we will never hear from again.
Goldust talks about Razor Ramon and the apparent bond they share between them. He ends this by saying "You will remember the name...(deep breath) Goldust!"
Next we are shown the confrontation between Diesel and The Undertaker over Undertaker being named #1 contender for the WWF Championship. "Nature Boy" Buddy Landell defeats Bob "Spark Plug" Holly.
It's time for The Brother Love Show with Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. DiBiase explains that Santa Claus that attacked Savio Vega was not Santa Claus from the North Pole, but rather "Xanta Klaus" from the South Pole. Xanta Klaus is the newest member of the Million Dollar Corporation for some reason.
He says 1996 will be the year for the Million Dollar Corporation. He predicts that the 1-2-3 Kid and Sycho Sid will be the next Tag Team Champions. Plus he will be bringing back the Million Dollar Championship and will show everyone his new champ.
It's time for the main event between WWF Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon against Yokozuna. Goldust and his usher come out and takes a seat in the aisle way. As Razor got his pyro entrance, gold sparkles flew down from the ceiling instead.
Yokozuna attacks Razor to start the match. Razor fights back as the two go back-and-forth. Yokozuna throws Razor into the corner, but Razor kicks him in the face and hits him with the bulldog off the second rope.
All of a sudden, the lights go out and come back on as The Undertaker and Paul Bearer come down with the casket. Yokozuna runs out of the ring and they chase him to the back as Yokozuna is counted out and Razor retains the Intercontinental Title.
Dok Hendrix asks Razor about Goldust and Razor says he got a letter from him saying how hot and good looking he is and while he agrees with that, he doesn't go THAT WAY as Razor only likes women. Dok asks what did the letter say and Razor tells him he will tell him in the back because it is not for children.
They close the show with a music video tribute for Shawn Michaels.
