We are live from Charlotte, NC with your hosts Eric Bischoff, Bobby Heenan, and Steve McMichael.
We join the Eddie Guerrero-Mr. JL match already in progress. Thanks for starting the match before TV!!! They must need extra time. Guerrero counters JL's rollup into his own rollup for the 1-2-3.
Gene Okerlund interviews Lex Luger and Jimmy Hart. Hart calls Luger the "uncrowned champion" for beating up Randy Savage with the Torture Rack at Halloween Havoc and beating him at World War 3 before Savage won the title in the battle royal. Then they talk about how Luger had Savage beat last week before Hulk Hogan interfered and cost him the title. Luger mentions his friendship with Sting.
Next up is "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff vs. Disco Inferno. Orndorff gives Disco the funny knee shake elbow drop and then pins him with a back suplex for the 1-2-3.
Okerlund is with three of the Four Horsemen with Chris Benoit in Japan. Brian Pillman mentions how great it is to be a member of the Horsemen. He says everyone wants to be a member even Hulk Hogan wanted to be a member as well but couldn't because it violated his three demandments. Pillman then mocks the Dungeon of Doom.
Next Pillman mocks Orndorff for wanting to be a Horseman before calling the Psychic Friends Network. Ric Flair starts to talk before Orndorff comes out for confront Pillman for what he said. Orndorff tries to go after Pillman but Arn Anderson tries to calm him down.
Pillman then slaps Orndorff in the face as Orndorff goes after Pillman. The Horsemen then gang up and attack Orndorff. Flair and Arn give Orndorff a spiked pile driver on the concrete floor. Orndorff is loaded onto a stretcher with a neck injury. Bobby Heenan goes to check on him.
Now it's time for the Lex Luger vs. Jim Duggan match as we are shown Orndorff being loaded into an ambulance. Duggan was about to deliver his three-point stance clothesline when Jimmy Hart distracts the referee by picking up the 2x4. Duggan goes to tape up his fist to hit Hart, but Luger nailed Duggan from behind and sends him into the 2x4. Luger puts him into the Torture Race for the win.
Gene Okerlund interviews WCW Champion Randy Savage as he mentions Savage has to defend the title next week on Nitro against The Giant and will have to wrestle twice at Starrcade. Savage says he is only focusing on The Giant next week.
It's time for the main event as Hulk Hogan and Sting take on Ric Flair an Arn Anderson. There are "Hogan Sucks" chants going on as they are in Horsemen country in Charlotte. Hogan constantly no-sells both Flair's and Anderson's attacks. Sting gives Flair numerous gorilla press slams.
Sting puts Arn in the Scorpion Death Lock. Flair runs in but he too is locked in the Scorpion Death Lock only for Arn to DDT Sting. Lex Luger comes out later in the match and shoves Hogan into the steel post and puts him in the Torture Rack outside.
Sting has been double-teamed due to Hogan being out of commission but eventually breaks out of the Figure Four and throws Flair off the top rope and bulldogs Arn to make the tag to Hulk.
Arn quickly attacks Hogan and even gives him the Spinebuster, but Hogan no-sells it and gets right back up. Hogan gives Arn three right hands, the big boot, and the leg drop as Sting nailed Flair with the Stinger Splash. Hogan pins Arn for the 1-2-3.
After the match, Brian Pillman runs and joins Flair and Arn in attacking Hogan and Sting and Lex Luger comes down to pull Pillman off of Sting but also keeps Sting from helping Hogan. Sting would break free and attack the Horsemen and when Randy Savage ran up to Sting from behind, Sting thought it was an enemy and quickly decks Savage and does not realize he hit Savage until afterwards.
Gene Okerlund interviews Sting, Hogan, and Savage. Sting says hitting Savage was self defense and did not mean to do it. Hogan tells Savage Sting is on their side since he helped him from the Horsemen attack. Savage is not buying this.
