The WWF announced they signed Steve Austin and are in the process of signing Mick Foley (known as Cactus Jack). Bam Bam Bigelow leaves the WWF to go to Japan while Dean Douglas also leaves the WWF. Could he be heading back to ECW? WCW is close to signing The Public Enemy.

The WWF is hyping Shawn Michaels' "triumphant return" from his injuries at January's Royal Rumble.

It's looking like Hulk Hogan won't even be at Starrcade. Randy Savage will defend the WCW World Title against the winner of the Triangle match earlier that night as Ric Flair, Sting, and Lex Luger will be the participants. There will also by the 7 WCW wrestlers vs. the 7 New Japan Pro Wrestling wrestlers.
