Happy New Year!! This week's episode of ECW Hardcore TV takes place from Queens, NY with clips from the Holiday Hell 95 show from New York City, ECW's first event in New York. The show starts with video highlights from the Holiday Hell event featuring the main matches and Paul E. Dangerously addressing the crowd in the middle of the ring.
Joey Styles is in the ring addressing the New York crowd when he was interrupted by Stevie Richards and the Blue Meanie. The New York crowd is insulting Richards and Meanie while Richards insults the crowd back. Meanwhile, he and Styles notice Missy Hyatt sitting in the crowd.
Richards hits on Missy as she constantly turns him down. She calls him a "clueless putz." Then he offers her a date with Raven as she takes off her shirt and wears whatever she's wearing underneath and then gives Stevie a mega french kiss (lucky bastard) and tells him to give that to Raven and sits back down.
There are some ads featuring the November to Remember 95 VHS on sale, the new ECF'nW t-shirt, the upcoming House Party show from the ECW Arena on Jan. 5, and the ECW hotline.
From Holiday Hell 95, 2 Cold Scorpio defends both the ECW World Tag Team and Television Championships against Mikey Whipwreck. Scorpio is one-half of the tag team champions with ECW World Heavyweight Champion Sandman as they own all three ECW titles. Unlike the WWF and WCW, no one can hold more than one title and certainly don't defend two at once.
Scorpio takes it to Whipwreck until Mikey gets some offense with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors and a somersault onto the floor, but Mikey misses a cross body. Scorpio then kicks Mikey in the balls. He dominates with a Tigerbomb, but picks Mikey back up and gives him a Tombstone piledriver and then hits him with a Moonsault. He won't pin him and picks him back up for more punishment.
Mikey fights back with a Hurricanrana. Scorpio boots Mikey in the face but also accidentally nails the referee. Scorpio goes for a Frog Splash but again hits the ref. Scorpio hits another Flying Splash and a Powerbomb and looks to finally end poor Mikey.
He goes to the top rope to hit his finisher. Cactus Jack runs down and shoves Scorpio off the top rope and hits him with the Double Arm DDT. He puts Mikey on top of him and revives the referee, who counts three for Mikey as Mikey is now one-half of the ECW World Tag Team Champions and is now the ECW World Television Champion.
Cactus takes the other belt and assumes he will be the other half of the tag team champions since he was Mikey's tag team partner and champion in the past. Mikey wants nothing to do with Cactus since Cactus is a heel and aligned with Raven and leaving for the WWF so he hands the belts back to Scorpio but Cactus again takes the belts from Scorpio.
There is a highlight package for the The Public Enemy featuring songs of Onyx's "Slam", Coolio's "Fantastic Voyage", and "Here Comes the Hotstepper" by Ini Kamoze, all awesome songs.
The Public Enemy is leaving ECW for WCW so there are numerous chants of "please don't go" from the crowd. They are supposed to take on the Heavenly Bodies, but Dr. Tom Prichard left ECW to go to the WWF so they won't be their opponents. However, The Gangstas make a surprise entrance since they are supposed to be suspended and will take on PE.
They put Rocco Rock through a table and Mustafa Saed hits him with a chair. New Jack puts a fork into Johnny Grunge's head and Grunge retaliates with a skillet to the nuts. Rock moonsaults Mustafa on a table but it doesn't break. Mustafa sends Grunge through it though.
New Jack hits Grunge with a frying pan. PE hits the Driveby but the ref is distracted by a brawl outside. New Jack hits Grunge with a steel chair and Mustafa rolls up Grunge for the 1-2-3.
These two teams with take on each other in a rematch at House Party in what will be PE's final match in ECW. The two teams trade promos about their upcoming match.
Cactus Jack brings both the ECW Tag Team Titles and Mikey Whipwreck to Raven to bring him into the Raven's Nest. Mikey wants nothing to do with either Cactus and Raven. Raven then screams at Cactus for being so stupid and bringing in a loser and begins to shove him around as we are out.
