One night after Survivor Series, we are shown still photos of Bret "The Hitman" Hart defeating Diesel to win the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. Our hosts are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
They take us back to last week on RAW where the 1-2-3 Kid turned on his buddy Razor Ramon and joined Million Dollar Man's Million Dollar Corporation. We are shown more stills of the Kid and Sycho Sid successful in their elimination matches last night.
The Kid takes on Hakushi in a rematch from SummerSlam. Razor is not there tonight but is on the phone saying he will get revenge on the Kid. Marty Jannetty comes out as he was upset over what happened last night but is held back by the refs. Kid wins following interference from DiBiase as Kid hits Hakushi with the Spinning Heel Kick for the win.
After the match, DiBiase gives Kid some cash. Lawler interviews both Kid and DiBiase as both Lawler and DiBiase say they are proud of the Kid. Jannetty comes back out, only to be stopped by Sid, who gives Jannetty a Powerbomb on the floor.
Dok Hendrix brings us the In Your House report as the next In Your House will come to you live on PPV on December 17 from Hershey, PA. Bret Hart will defend the WWF Championship against his brother-in-law The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith. There will be an Arkansas Hog Pen match between Henry Godwinn and Hunter Hearst Helmsley.
They show backstage with Diesel talking to his buddy Shawn Michaels. I thought Diesel was a heel? I wonder if this is another Lex Luger-Sting situation where the two best friends work together despite one being a heel and the other a babyface?
Next Savio Vega will take on Skip. However, Diesel comes out and the match will not happen. Diesel has a lot to say about last night. He thought about apologizing to Bret Hart and the fans, but he won't be doing that.
He talks about being able to sleep and smile for the first time in over a year as he is no longer a "corporate puppet" since being the champion. Diesel says Big Daddy Cool is back and puts on his black shades and says the only thing that matters to him are family and friends. He finished by saying that if he slaps hands with a fan, they better have a black glove on their hand to tell him who's side they are on.
It's time for the main event as Shawn Michaels faces Owen Hart. This was a classic back-and-forth match between two excellent in-ring technicians. Michaels wants to his Hart with Sweet Chin Music, but Hart won't turn around as Michaels grabs Hart's leg to turn him around.
However, Hart nails Michaels with the enziguri kick to the back of his head. Hart tries to put Michaels in the Sharpshooter, but Michaels pokes him in the eyes. Michaels then backflips out of a back suplex and goes for a rollup, but Hart holds onto the ropes. Then Michaels would clothesline Hart out of the ring and Michaels skins the cat back into the ring.
Michaels starts to pose and celebrate when all of a sudden, Michaels holds his head and collapses in the middle of the ring. This looks like it could be an act, but it kind of looks real as everyone, including Hart, stop and check on Michaels. Vince McMahon goes into the ring to check on Michaels as Michaels would be loaded onto a stretcher and carried out of the ring.
Next week on Raw, The Undertaker takes on Kama and Brother Love returns to interview the new WWF Champion Bret "The Hitman" Hart.
