We are live from Macon, GA as we are six days away from the World War 3 PPV. Tonight is the much hyped main event between Hulk Hogan and Sting. Our hosts are Eric Bischoff, Bobby Heenan, and Steve McMichael.
The first match is the lame Scott Norton and Shark as the two fight in the aisle way coming to the ring. Shark misses a corner avalanche and Norton picked him up and slammed him for the win.
Gene Okerlund interviews Kevin Sullivan and Jimmy Hart. Hart says Sting should be jealous of Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage's friendship and wants Sting to beat Hogan. Sullivan then talks about the World War 3 battle royal and says he can't wait for Hogan to get in the ring with all the members of The Dungeon of Doom for the first time.
Next up is Eddie Guerrero vs. Ric Flair as Disco Inferno is dancing as Guerrero about to enter as Guerrero chased him away. Flair comes out but in street clothes as he has Horsemen member Brian Pillman take his place.
Guerrero gives Pillman a Brainbuster and was about to give him the Five Star Frog Splash. Pillman falls into the ropes and crotches Guerrero. He tries to give Pillman a Superplex, but Guerrero throws him off and gives him the Frog Splash for the 1-2-3 and the win.
A WCW Saturday Night promo is run and now we are shown highlights of last week of Lex Luger and Shark attacking Randy Savage and further injuring his arm.
Next up is Road Warrior Hawk vs. Big Bubba Rogers. Rogers tapes up his fist and runs into the ropes to try and hit Hawk, but he is tripped up by "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Rogers lands face first on his taped fist, knocking him out. Hawk pins him for the win.
It's time for the main event between Sting and Hulk Hogan that should be on a PPV and not on cable TV. Sting comes out first as he is wearing red-and-yellow to probably stick it to Hulk. Hulk's music plays but only Randy Savage comes out wearing a sling but no Hogan.
All of a sudden, Hogan, still wearing all black, comes through the crowd and enters the ring as Sting doesn't see him as he is still distracted by Savage. All of a sudden, Sting turns around to see Hogan standing in the ring and the two stare down each other. The crowd, and even Bobby Heenan, are for Sting over Hogan as the crowd boos Hogan.
Hogan shoves Sting only for Sting to beat on him. Hogan reverses an Irish Whip into the corner and gives Sting a corner clothesline and then beats on him in the corner. Hogan then misses a clothesline and gives him two drop kicks sending Hogan to the floor.
The two trade moves as Sting works on his leg. Hogan actually does wrestling moves on Sting. Sting gets Hogan into a corner and is about to hit him with the Stinger Splash, only for Hogan to catch him in a bearhug. Hogan then gives Sting a back suplex and then a vertical suplex.
Sting gives Hogan a couple of drop kicks on Hogan's leg and sets him up for the Scorpion Death Lock, but Hogan powers out of it. Hogan begins to "Hulk up!" and no sells Sting's punches. He points at Sting and gives him three punches and the big boot and goes for the leg drop.
However, Sting moves out of the way and Hogan crashes to the mat. Sting then puts Hogan in the Scorpion Death Lock as Hogan is screaming "He is going to break my leg! Help me!" The Dungeon of Doom run and attack both Sting and Hogan as the match ends in a no decision. Sting and Hogan then fight back and clear the ring.
The Giant comes into the ring and is about to give Sting and Hogan a double Chokeslam, but Randy Savage runs into the ring and hits the Giant with a steel chair. The Giant no-sells it and gives Savage a Chokeslam. Sting and Hogan grab the chair and clothesline The Giant over the top rope and to the floor. The Giant is trying to get back into the ring as Hogan and Sting are celebrating in the ring.
Eric Bischoff hypes up World War 3 as Kevin Sullivan and Jimmy Hart are at the announcers' table yelling at Bischoff.
